We are a voluntary group based in and adjacent to the Caheragh area. Our common bond is we were all privileged to have known the late Professor Gerry O'Sullivan and regard him as our friend and inspiration.

A registered company has been formed solely for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a memorial park in Caheragh Village on land generously handed over by Micheál and Kathleen Kirby.

The development is an evolving site as a memorial to the late Professor Gerry O'Sullivan and also a significant feature in the village of Caheragh, linking the village to the churches and school, in effect ideally "infilling" the existing vacant area.

Our inspiration for this project is a unique opportunity to honour and acclaim the International eminence of Professor Gerry O'Sullivan in Science and Medicine. He was a world renowned and preeminent cancer researcher and surgeon, immunotherapist, and founder of the Cork Cancer Research Centre, and had a keen sense of tackling issues of disease, cancer and bodily repair through the power and healing processes found in nature.
