My name is Derry O'Malley and I have over 20 years’ experience in private practice in Limerick assisting people – facilitating them to get their lives back on track, by re-establishing old skills such as healthy sleep patterns and the ability to remain calm.

Using new skills we work to break free from unhelpful thinking styles, such as the thoughts that come with depression or anxiety. A really important part of my job is to assist clients to put compulsive or addictive behaviour behind them.

Many people come for assistance with trauma, including Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) which includes shock from car crashes, victim of violence or sexual assault, prolonged grief and many other traumatic life events.

Each person who comes to me has individual needs specific to them therefore all treatments are tailored to suit those individual needs. With this approach I use safe, proven-to-be-effective methods based on the application of modern sound scientific principles.
