Bright Stars Stage School is one of Ireland's leading stage schools with classes in Navan and Ashbourne Co. Meath. Bright Stars Stage School opened its doors in Navan in September 2009 and has no doubt been a great success. Bright Stars Stage School was set up by Denise Dunne after the success and great interest taken by parents and students alike in continuing in their learning and performing from the Bright Stars Theatrical Summer Camps which began in 2006.

Bright Stars Stage School’s classes are ran in Navan every Saturday morning from 10am – 12 noon for children aged 4-7 years and from 12.30-2.30 for children aged 8- 16 years. Classes take place in Navan in The Community Centre, Trimgate Street, Navan.

In January 2012 Bright Stars Stage School opened their second school in Ashbourne Co.Meath. Classes take place in Ashbourne every Thursday evening from 4-5.30pm for children aged 4-7 years and 5.30-7.30pm for children aged 8 - 16 years. Our Ashbourne classes take place in The Ashbourne House Hotel.

In the classes the children are taught the skills required for performance through fun games and activities. Not only is the programme packed with these enjoyable activities but it is also great for confidence building through the arts.

Bright Stars aim to take all their students individual interests into account within the classes of fun and learning. Bright Stars strongly believe that every child deserves a chance to perform if he/she wishes and they encourage this fairness in all their classes.

Since Bright Stars Stage School opened its doors in Navan in 2009, Bright Stars have donated to various local charities these include; The Irish Cancer Society (€1350), St. Marys Special School Navan Co. Meath (€2,000) Special Hands Organisation Kells Co. Meath (€1,100) Navan Meals on Wheels (€1,045) Ashbourne Meals on Wheels (€600) Casey’s Dream Appeal (€350) Meath Palliative Care (€350), and The Home to Rome Cycle for The Irish Cancer Society (€350).

Today Bright Stars Stage School is delighted to be one of County Meath’s leading stage schools.
