The Briery Gap opened in November 1999 provides the best possible entertainment for the Lee Valley and surrounding area as well as a venue of excellence for performers and audience. It offers a varied programme to include all members of the community and encourages the use of the venue by enthusiastic and reliable youth groups, theatre companies and film makers. It encourages expertise in all areas of theatre and cinema by providing workshops especially performance, and cinema by providing workshops especially performance, lighting and sound techniques. Provides a strong artistic educational programme for theatre, cinema, performance and music for primary and second level schools.
