A note on commenting & the page in general

Our aim is to create a community on Facebook as an extension of our website where our readers can exchange intelligent and informed views and commentary that works with the quality of information we provide and gives a forum for readers to discuss and debate.

We do not pre-moderate comments on Facebook and are happy to allow most comments to remain posted if they are intelligent and relevant. However, moderating decisions are subjective and are final. We will strive to ensure that the page remains a place where readers can voice their opinions without abusive commentary and without having their comments deleted unless they breach the above rules.

We will use the "blocking" functionality for users who consistently abuse these rules or post irrelevant comments or comments which do not add to the discussion at hand.
