All of our products are Gluten Free and GMO free and made from natural 100% Organic ingredients.

Free from additives, colourings, preservatives, soya lecithin,GMs, emulsifiers or gluten, making it a super choice for coeliacs. Two of our bars are also vegan.

Even the packaging of Blakes Organic Chocolate is environmentally friendly.

Handmade and hand wrapped in a specially sealed polypropylene. The outer wrap is made using recycled materials.
Blakes Organic Chocolate is a Galway based Organic and Fair-Trade chocolate business. Regarded as one of the premium organic chocolate brands in Ireland and the UK where it was listed on the “Top 10 most ethical chocolate companies” by The Guardian newspaper.

Blakes Organic Chocolate was founded and developed by prominent Galway businesswoman and former “Galway Businesswoman of the Year” Denise Gleeson. Denise has always believed in “organic” as a way of life, encompassing food production, taste, care of the environment and health ethos.

In 2011, Denise decided to sell Blakes and focus on her other passions, Organic Farming and her three children. (The name Blakes emanates from Denise’s own heritage. Her family farm is located on the former Blakes Estate, dating back to 1850. Blake is one of the fourteen tribes of Galway).
