New Deli:
Our deli has undergone a makeover and has been upgraded with the addition of new staff (welcome Kathleen) and a new Merrychef oven.
This allows us to offer a substantial food menu from breakfast rolls to quarter pounders and from paninis to taco chips so do call in to see whats on offer. Full menu available on request and phone orders are welcome.
Our deli is open Mon - Sat 9am to 4pm

We operate a soft ice cream machine during the warmer months which can be served in a cone or a tub for your convenience.

Motor Fuels
Unleaded Petrol, White Diesel, Tractor Diesel and Kerosene are available at very competitive prices. Petrol cans are available for purchase in the shop as well an many motoring products such as engine oils and two-stroke oil.

A range of solid fuels are located on the shop forecourt. These include:

All leading brands of tyres stocked at competitive prices, including Bridgestone, Goodyear, Michelin, Continental, Dunlop, Firestone, Yokohama, and Vredestein. Budget brands also available at low prices.

Electronic wheel balancing and 4-wheel laser alignment (tracking) performed using modern technology.

Tractor and trailer tyres, tubes and puncture repair also available.

Batteries
A range of car and tractor batteries are stored on site and can be fitted in minutes. Battery charging is also available.

Service and Repairs
The garage offers a large service dock which is served by two new 2-post lifts and a platform lift. We work closely with local motor factors and suppliers to stock and obtain all service products including oil filters, air filters, spark plugs, fuel filters, brake fluid, bulbs, wiper blades and a range of synthetic and semi-synthetic oils. This enables us to meet our customers’ service needs while also having a large stock of service supplies available for drop in patrons.

All makes and models of vehicles are serviced and repaired, while electronic fault analysis is carried out using a universal diagnostic tool. Our staff also includes a specialist technician for all models of cars in the Volkswagen range (VW, Skoda, Audi, Seat).

Frequent works performed include fitting and welding exhausts, installing brakes and clutch replacements.

For your convenience, we can also arrange to collect your car from your home, carry out the service or repairs, and return it once the job has been completed.

NCT/DoE Preparation and Testing
Ballyfarnon Motor Works offers a comprehensive service in relation to NCT testing, which is now mandatory for all cars over four years old, and DoE testing on vans which is required every year.

We will prepare your vehicle for the applicable test and notify you of any essential repairs needed. We can also arrange to collect your car and transfer it to and from the test centre as needed. Follow up work can also be carried out after the test if a re-test is required. See www.ncts.ie or www.vehicletesting.ie for further details.

Carwash
Ballyfarnon Motor Works also proudly offers a hot carwash on the premises. Self-service tokens are available for purchase in the shop or alternatively staff in the garage will be happy to wash your car for you.

The wash cycle includes cold wash, hot foam wash, rinse and wax.

Directions
From Sligo: At Carraroe roundabout take exit for Balllygawley/Dromahair. Take the first left on this road and immediately turn right onto the R284 towards Ballygawley/Ballyfarnon. Continue on R284 for approx. 27km until you enter Ballyfarnon, the Motor Works and Filling Station will be on your right.

From Boyle: Take the N4 towards Sligo. After approx 1km turn right onto the Ballyfarnon road. Contine on this road for approx. 15km until you arrive at a T-Junction. Turn right onto the R284 entering Ballyfarnon, the Motor Works and Filling Station will be on your right.

From Carrick-on-Shannon: Take the R903 towards Leitrim Village/Drumshanbo. Turn left in Leitrim village and continue on this road for 15km, passing through Keadue village. As you enter Ballyfarnon, the Motor Works and Filling Station will be on your left.
