A beautiful location in NW Connemara, on the Wild Atlantic Way. 10 miles from Clifden, the capital of Connemara, yet so distant. Beaches, walks, coastline, bars, restaurants, B&Bs, holiday home rentals, local events, Irish and other music, sea angling, pony riding, and lots in tourist information on places to see, tours to make, things to do, and practical information about all you may need to know about the area.

We also carry items of interest to members of the community wherever possible - births, marriages, deaths, events, items about nature, and other information that may be interesting to the community and visitors/potential visitors alike.

Finally, since so many members of the community have had to emigrate, or have moved away for education or work purposes - and since there are many regular visitors to the area who can't live full-time here - we hope this page will help to keep them in touch with home, or their home-from-home.
