When I completed my medical degree from Queens University in Belfast. I went on to train in Glasgow gaining my completion of specialist training (CCST) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2003. That same year I first came to work and live in Kilkenny as a a locum consultant at St Luke’s for six months before taking up my Consultant post in the West of Scotland where I worked for 10 years before returning to Kilkenny in 2013.

I returned to Kilkenny with over 10 years of experience as a consultant working in a large teaching hospital, where I had led the outpatient hysteroscopy service and developed skills in laparoscopic surgery. I have extensive experience in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures including laparoscopic total/sub total hysterectomy, pelvic floor surgery and operations for female incontinence.

I joined Aut Even Hospital in January 2014 and began working at the Whitfield Clinic in early 2015.
