Caroline Keane is a Laois based artist originally from Portlaoise.She completed a Bachelor Honours Degree in Fine Art in the Limerick School Of Art and Design, specializing in sculpture and combined media.
After graduating in 2013, Caroline become an artist in residence at the Art house in Stradbally.Throughout her time there she ran a variety of workshops sharing her passion for art. These evolving workshops lead her to create the format of ‘Art Classes with Caroline Keane’.
These consist of art lessons and workshops for the complete beginner or regular painter, ranging from toddlers to adults and everyone in between, they have been running since 2015 at the Dunamaise Arts Centre and the Portlaosie Parish Centre. The art classes are developed to create an accessible platform for people to engage in art and art making.

Adult Art Classes
These art classes cater for ALL levels from Absolute complete beginner to the more regular artisan. As a beginner you will learn some time honored techniques using a range of mediums such acrylic,pencil,charcoal and pastel etc.
These classes are designed to provide a relaxed environment to explore your creative side

After School Art Club
These classes aim to create a fun and vibrant environment for budding artists to develop their abilities. Participants will get a chance to build on projects and experiment with all kinds of artistic materials and tools.


Creative Kids
Fun art sessions for pre-schoolers aged 3-5 year old and their parents &guardians.Artist Caroline will guide the toddlers and grown ups through fun and creative art and craft activities.
