THERAPIST PROFILE
Having had positive personal results from receiving energy healing, and a long held belief and fascination of the connection of mind, body, spirit, illness and health owner/therapist Noreen McWalter entered the field of Energy Healing in 2005, training as a Reflexologist with the Marguerite Brady School of Reflexology & Natural Medicine. Gaining experience and broadening her skills in private practice and with the MS Society, Noreen continued her professional development by training in Hand Reflexology, Pregnancy Reflexology & Indian Head Massage. While working with and meeting clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups it became apparent that many people needed to talk and be listened to in a caring, non-judgemental manner. This prompted Noreen to further studies and a B.A. Degree in Counselling Skills & Psychotherapy Studies. Graduating from the Irish College of Humanities & Science (ICHAS), Limerick in 2012 Noreen is currently working towards accreditation while continuing to expand her knowledge and skills in the energy healing modalities by training in Reiki/ Seichem with renowned Reiki Master/Teacher Mags Furey Corcoran.
Always seeking a deeper knowledge and understanding of the influence of energy fields and chakra centres on the human mind, body and spirit Noreen trained as a Bio-Energy Therapist and has done further training in Lymphatic Drainage Reflexology which works particularly well with oedema especially in persons having had a mastectomy.
Noreen is a trained Meditation Group Facilitator and is available to hold groups or give talks, and sample treatments to Community Groups, Active retired groups, men’s shed, ladies groups, schools, nursing homes, etc.
Noreen is based at TDMHA, Bishop Street, Tuam.
