I am a qualified Neuromuscular and Physical therapist who specialises in referred pain & changes in sensation. I am a registered member of the association of Neuromuscular and Physical therapists www.anmpt.ie which is compatible with Laya and Aviva health insurance. I offer a special focus on chronic pain and injury including musculoskeletal injuries related to physical activity. My main focus is on the treatment of Myofascial Trigger Points, which are a common cause of referred pain in the body. (For example a headache can be caused by a trigger point in the neck.)
I am also qualified in Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) which is a new effective way to treat pain. This technique enables Fibromyalgia (especially cervical trauma) to be managed with little pain, shingles to be treated, skin allergies, infections, nerve pain, emotional trauma, bone, kidney stone pain, disc bulges and many more, and has really changed what is possible to treat in pain management
I am a strong believer that you don’t have to be in sport to be in pain, I have a lot of skills for the sports man and woman to continue their activities but these same skills are very effective with the everyday postural pains, or chronic pains.
