So what is yoga?
Good question! Yoga means union or link. Yoga's all about re-establishing the link between mind, body and breath.

Why should kids do yoga?
That's easy! Yoga enhances physical, emotional and mental health. These are all really important for school-going children as Yoga-Ed has been shown to improve health, overall fitness and academic performance.. Yoga-Ed aims to transfer the yoga skills learned in class into tools for dealing with life and making healthy, responsible choices. Yoga has also been proven to improve the symptoms of ADD, ADHD and other learning difficulties.

What does an Aloha Yoga Class involve?
Yoga is all about breathing and moving in unity. A typical yoga class involves moving in a variety of poses whilst sustaining deep and controlled breathing.

OK, I'm in. When and where can I do this?
Aloha Kids Yoga offers four Yoga-Ed classes a week (two for juniors, ages 4-7 and two for seniors, ages 8-12). Classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from our premises in Croffy's Yard, Main Street, Ballinasloe with a 6pm class for juniors and a 7pm class for seniors. Our first class takes place on 1st July!

But how much will it cost?
Single classes cost 7 euro but we offer 6 classes at a discounted rate of 28 euros. Family packages are available on request.

What will I need to bring?
Mats are provided so, all you'll need is a bottle of water and light, comfortable clothing.
