PT Widatra Bhakti or WIDATRA, a manufacturer of basic intravenous solution products, was established in 1973 as a pharmaceutical company. In 1986, WIDATRA began producing basic intravenous solution products under a manufacturing license agreement and the direction of a leading German company. Subsequently, in 1995, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, Japan, acquired PT Widatra Bhakti.

Today, WIDATRA is the largest manufacturer of basic intravenous solution products and a market leader in Indonesia, and is poised to become the biggest intravenous solution product company in the Southeast Asia region.
