Makasar is a subdistrict (kecamatan) of East Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. It has an area of 21.64 km² and population of 157,261 (2000).The boundaries of Makasar Subdistrict are Kali Malang channel to the north, Sunter River to the east, Jagorawi tollway to the west, and Taman Mini 2 - Pondok Gede Raya Road to the south.
