The Global Village Foundation is an Indonesian Registered Charity (Reg no. AHU-0017736.AH.01.12) based in Lovina Beach on Bali’s North Coast.

Funded primarily from the profits of The Global Village Kafé a ’Not for Profit’ Social Enterprise, and also donations,

Many Balinese (especially in the rural villages) live in extreme poverty. They do not have access to many of the basic needs that most of us take for granted in life, such as Healthcare, Housing, Sanitation, Education.

The Global Village Foundation & Kafé
were established with the sole mission of assisting the Disadvantaged, and the Disabled people of North Bali, and beyond, to access these most basic of social services,
ensuring a better standard of living for them, and an enhanced quality of Life

The Global Village Foundation assists the Poorest & Disabled of Bali in the following practical ways;

MEDICAL.
Where it can Global Village Foundation assists Bali’s people in need with;

Providing wheelchairs
Medication Costs
Physiotherapy
Transportation to Medical Facilities


EDUCATIONAL
Many children cannot attend school in Bali because the parents have no money
for Books, or Uniforms. Global Village Foundation, in association with Bali Hearts Lovina seeks to assist children who need help
accessing an education, whether at a school, or in a home based situation.

HOUSING
Global Village assists the poor with Home improvements; Sometimes it means simply
waterproofing their very basic homes or building toilets that so many poor people lack..
(26% of Indonesians don’t have access to even the most basic Toilet facilities).
