Birding in Sumatra 3.8

Aceh Birder are an independent tour organiser and ground agent for birdwatching trips to almost all birding areas in Aceh and some areas in North Sumatra. Aceh Birder have supported by Cicem Nanggroe Society (Aceh’s Birder and Birdwatcher). We are exciting, friendly, small-group birdwatching tours designed and guided by a team of LEADERS (please click to see our Leaders) and experience with knowledge.

Aceh Birder can arrange bird watching to all areas in Sumatra and small islands in the vicinity. Aceh Birder can also organise trips for non-birders with a special interest in cultural, wildlife or nature exploration through community-based tourism and it’s more than birding. We will bring you to enjoy the Holistic Birding in Aceh of Sumatra.

We cooperate with local agencies and networks to conduct, informative, ecologically and socially responsible tours. By partnering with local communities, local NGOs, and progressive government agencies, we try to contribute to the local economy while simultaneously conserving Aceh’s unique biological and cultural heritage. We try to offer a professional and authentic experience, while contributing towards nature conservation in a way that benefits local communities

We work to fulfill birdwatchers and common travelers demands from basic to comfort standards, assist in arranging travel documents and permits to remote areas, supply clients with any necessary information for birdwatching and travelling to such areas, build contacts with local guides at each spot, and arrange local transport to all destinations in Aceh.
