Our story

Akos (founder) and Szocsi have been friends since their childhood. Luckily they passed on their obsession with cycling to the next generation, Csaba and Peter (co-founders), their sons. That’s where the WanderRoads story starts.
Being involved in professional mountain-bike management, the team has already organized many training camps and cycling holidays mainly to the Mediterranean Islands (Croatia, Corsica, Mallorca, Grand-Canary, Portugal, etc...) since 2009. As they were organizing and preparing to the cycling holidays they fell in love with this lifestyle and they discovered their passion of sharing the joy of exploring foreign cultures with their fellow travellers. In 2013 the team decided to found a company that focuses purely on travelling and exploring. That is when WanderRoads was born.
