About Nagycenk Observatory
Details
The Széchenyi István Geophysical Observatory (IAGA code: NCK) has been established in 1957 within the International Geophysical Year. The original objective of the observatory was to record continuously the Earth's electromagnetic field of external origin but nowadays data acquisition systems of earth current, atmospheric electricity and ionospheric observations are also operating.
