Central Eastern European Choral Centre of Eca-Ec in Pécs 2.37

The objectives of the Centre are to:
- be a hub for the support, maintenance and development of choral activities in Central-Eastern Europe
- maintain and intensify contacts with ECA-EC members in the region and recruit new members
- encourage and develop cross-cultural and multi-cultural projects between Eastern and Western European countries
- facilitate the extension of choral activities in Central Europe
- present ECA-EC and its activities to choirs, conductors, managers and other institutions and musicians in the region

The Centre targets the following countries:
Poland (PL), Czech Republic (CZ), Slovakia (SK), Hungary (H), Romania (RO), Moldova (MO), Bulgaria (BG), Slovenia (SLO), Croatia (HR), Serbia (RS), Montenegro (MNE), Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH), Albania (ALB), Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYRMC), Ukraine (UA), Byelorussia (BLR), Russia (RU), Armenia (ARM), Georgia (GEO) and Azerbaijan (AZE).

Activities of the Centre include:
- regional meetings with people active in the choral world in this region
- regional or international events in one of the target countries
- collecting and disseminating news from and for the region
- advising organisers of choral events in the region on organisational and financial matters connected to the organisation of European events
- setting up networks of experts
- attend (choral) events in the region
