Borkatakomba is an exclusive venue for fine dining experiences with a traditional Hungarian style interior established in a former wine cellar. Specialized in serving a wide range of Hungarian dishes and entertaining its guests with joy and culture, the company had become famous with its unique atmosphere and interesting programs while the courses are served. Since our aim is serving masterpieces of the Hungarian culinary, our Olympic medalist master chef prepares from Goulash soups to medallions sirloin of beef in the Kalocsa style with risotto. For a really enjoyable evening with a beautiful architectural view, Borkatakomba shows everyday authentic folk dance ensembles with Gipsy music performed by József Balázs and 5 other orchestra members.
With excellent Hungarian wines from reputed producers, our restaurant has the best to offer for its guests. Out of all active wine cellars can be found, expending over 40 km. Just to walk across the caved in limestone rooms it's possible to feel all of the wine-making energy and history, having the possibility of siting in huge wine barrels with candlelight, looking through an interesting exhibition of Hungary's wine regions.
