自1950年父親在九龍彌敦道經營〈環球傢俬〉至今已達六十多年，回想起自己繼承了這實木傢俱工藝，在這行頭亦已累積了超過三十五年的珍貴經驗，對實木存著濃濃的感情，如果自己沒有這一份熱情與執著，相信這獨特的工藝在香港已買少見少了。
Since 1950, my father ran a shop at Nathan Road for sixty years. I inherited the knowledge of solid wood and accumulated over 35 years of valuable experience in this career of furniture. I have a deep sentiment on solid wood. Without such passion and perseverance, I believe that this craftsmanship will soon become extinct.
我在泰國設廠已廿多年，早已自稱半個泰國人，泰國實木木材聞名於世，那種天然木紋的優美，配合木質堅固耐用的優點，絕非一般中國國內外所謂的實木或夾木傢俬所能媲美。
I have setup workshop in Thailand over 20. I know Thailand as much as Hong Kong. Thailand timber is famous in the world. The kind of beautiful natural grain grew on a hard, strong and solid Thailand wood which is an advance level comparing with those furniture made with plywood in China.
我在這三十五年間供應木材，設計傢俱及花園，已有超過一仟個客戶及家庭受惠，每想到這裡，心中總泛起莫名的滿足感，相信就是憑著這股動力，在現今香港困難的經營環境，自己仍決心勇往直前。這個行業已很難找年輕人入行，要有對木材原料的知識及經驗，怎設計？ 怎應用？ 怎保養？ 並非一朝一夕間可學懂的事，加上現今香港租金昂貴，木工薪金高企，再因為競爭，要降低實木傢俱的售價來接近夾板木傢俱的價格水平，利潤不繼降低，很多人已不願花長時間勞心勞力投身此行業。 可能到有朝一日，當坊間再沒有人願意經營，這些設計獨特的原木傢俱會在市場上成為天價也難求的稀有珍品。
In these thirty-five years, I provide supply and design services of furniture and garden. More than a thousand of clients and families have benefited from my services. Every time when I think about this, I have an inexplicable satisfaction. I believe that it is the momentum for me to continue this business although it becomes more and more difficult in Hong Kong. The industry is now hard to attract young man to join. It requires knowledge and experience in wood raw material. How to design? How to apply ? How to do the maintenance ?

Not overnight rooms can learn to do, with rents in Hong Kong today, woodworking high salaries, because then the competition to reduce the price of solid wood furniture to be close to the price level of plywood wood furniture, not following the reduced profits, many people have been reluctant to painstakingly take a long time to join the industry. Possible to one day, when no one is willing to run the printing of these uniquely designed wood furniture will also be the price hard to find rare treasures in the market.

十年樹木，百年樹人！ 一件原木過的大木材由樹苗生長至十多呎高需時超過五十年以上，非常難求，你把它帶回家，一定要好好珍惜、保護及保存。一條原始的木紋，一塊飽歷風吹雨打的樹幹，構成放在你家中的實木傢俱，與我們的大自然一樣，絕不會過時，再以實用價值來設計及雕琢，可以是粗獷霸氣的，可以是細滑溫柔的，可以是成熟穩重的，可以是玲瓏灑脫的，只會越看越美，是一件不可多得的藝術品。
