A local legend,Rolf Schneider has been permanent fixture among Hong Kong's culinary elite for over 40 years.

Rolf began his carrer as a master chef in his native Switzerland. Fllowing his professional training and apprenticeships, he enjoyed an international career where he honed his skills in many of the great kitchens across Europe, India and Canada.

After his arrive in Hong Kong in the late 60s, Rolf cooked in some Hong Kong's most prestigious kitchens including The Penisula Hotel, The Repulse Bay Hotel, The Hong Kong Club, and The Raffles Club. Since the mid 80's, he has become one of the Stanley's premier restaurateurs, operating several successful ventures.

During his illustrious career,Rolf has had the opportunity to share his creations with many celebrities and dignitaries, including: Prince Charles, Princess Margaret, the Aga Khan, Sophia Loren, Shirley MacLaine, Elton John and Elizabeth Taylor. But Rolf's true passion is serving everyone - whether a first-time guest or a frequently visiting local-with the same enthusiasm and warmth.
