Pret operates a bit like a restaurant. We build a kitchen in (or very near) every shop. You won’t find ‘sell by’ dates on our fresh sandwiches and salads. We don’t sell ‘factory’ stuff. We offer our food to charity at the end of each day rather than keep it over.
Using natural ingredients and avoiding preservatives and obscure chemicals is key to us. Our sandwiches are freshly made throughout the day in each and every Pret kitchen. This fact is (partly) what makes Pret special. We definitely don't buy from a big sandwich factory.
