Pantry Magic was founded by a classically-trained French chef, in friendly partnership with a handful of like-minded foodies and entrepreneurs. We wanted to give culinary enthusiasts – originally around Asia - excellent neighborhood cookshops, stocking everything they would need to create delicious food for their family and friends. From our little store in Hong Kong’s historic Pedder Building, we have grown in a few years to 8 stores in five countries.

We take great pride in being the original and foremost upmarket, retail kitchenware chain across Asia-Pacific. Back in the day, we opened the first cookshops locally seen with the help of visionary owner-franchisees in diverse and developing markets. Today the opportunity may seem obvious, but years ago, we were “country before country was cool.”

Firmly rooted in the hard-working and practical kitchens of restaurants and resourceful home cooks, over 2500 items are hand-selected by our globe-trotting buying team. They also cook, love food, stock our stores and are dedicated to bringing you this special combination.
