Most vehicles today come detuned from the factory. Engineers create software through extensive R&D that allows the engine to operate to its absolute full potential then detune it to cater to the requirements of various markets. We alter various files in this software to better suite the needs of each individual client while still staying within the safe protocols of the software, not affecting the emissions, in most cases increasing fuel economy and never affecting reliability. Depending on the car we either tune using the OBD port or open the ECU to tune it on the bench. We are trained by the top companies in the tuning business like EVC Electronic of Germany and Alientech & Dimsport of Italy. We use EVC WinOLS and Alientech ECM Titanium software to alter the files.

We have different stages of tunes based on our client's needs. From your basic stage one tune where we adjust speed and RPM limiters, electronic throttle sensitivity and spark advance all to make the engine feel more responsive, allow a higher top speed and produce more power.

The next stage would be a tune that includes the above mentioned as well as other adjustments to optimise the mods done to the engine like high flow intake and exhaust systems.

The next would be a tune designed for serious mods like bigger turbos, ported heads, bigger cams etc, this will require a custom tune using a chassis dyno. The first two stages we give the client the option of running the car on the chassis dyno before and after the tune so they can see for themselves the difference the tune made.
