Hong Kong Youth Ballet Academy (HKYBA), formerly L'École de Jeune Ballet, aims to create excellent, classical ballet dancers through intensive training programs and professionally produced stage performances. Leading teachers are former principal dancers of The Hong Kong Ballet with years of professional stage experience. They understand, and cater to, the individual needs of each students. HKYBA teaches students to enjoy ballet as a form of performing arts. Three carefully designed courses cover students ranging from age three to eighteen: the Children Inspiring Program; the Pre-Professional Training Program; and the Professional Training Program (for gifted students, who wish to become professional dancers). Open Classes are offered at several different levels to accommodate ballet lovers who want high quality training for leisure. Since 2002, successful students have won a significant number of scholarships and medals in major local and international competitions. They have also been accepted into leading ballet schools and professional ballet and dance companies in Hong Kong and around the world.
