大學畢業後的明哲當上體育記者，事業扶搖直上，生活過得風光，兒時當鋼琴家的夢想早已拋諸腦後。一天，他從電視上得知大學時代的教授慕理身患絕症，不久於人世，於是決定每個星期二前來探望，聆聽老師彌留前的教誨。這14次會面，重燃這段中斷了16年的師生情，也讓明哲重新理解死亡和活著的意義。

These 14 meetings eventually turned into one inspiring and universal lesson for him: the meaning of life and death.
