The house is completely furnished with a huge fireplace, air-conditioning, Stereo, Television, and can accommodate up to 7 people. The house has two levels. On the ground floor is the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, and a large dining table which sits 12 people, a bed room with one double bed and a dual area bathroom. The above level is a large area with two double bunk beds and a single bed.

The house is in the settlement of "Vounaki" at an altitude of 1100 meteres, facing the peaks of Helmos very near to the village of Zarouchla, in the Peloponnese of Greece. The house is only 15 kilometers from the Snow Resort of Kalabryta. Also the house is 33 kilometers from the city of Akrata which is near the sea.

The house is built on 1600 sq.m. of land all fenced in and nicely taken care of with walnut trees and fir trees, with lots of room for kids to play. It has complete autonomy and no annoying disturbances from anyone. The house has excellent Feng Shui. At night, the first time that you look at the lights from the other villages, you will think that you are looking at the stars!

You will be impressed by the unique view of the mountain tops of Helmos and the road that leads to the Snow Resort of Kalabrita, which you can enjoy sitting on the veranda of the house or even from the living room from the huge glass windows. Even the local people say that "The House in Vounaki" has the most beautiful view of the area.

Close to the settlement of Vounaki (10 minutes away by car) is the village of Zarouchla which has many restaurants. Right outside of the village is the forest of Zarouchla and a passing river, a beautiful place to go hiking! It is also worth visiting the lake of Tsivlos, the Waters of Stigos, the Fountain of Golfos, and the other villages Peristera and Mesorougi.

I M P O R T A N T: According to the Greek Law 3386/2005 for the “Codification of Legislation on the Entry, Residence and Social Integration of Third-Country Nationals on the Greek Territory”, the Greek government gives the option to third-country nationals and their family members to issue a five-year residence permit in Greece on the basis that they own immovable property in Greece.

Once the non-EU citizen is granted a residence permit in Greece, then, he is allowed to live in Greece, exit and re-enter Greece without a visa and travel to all Schengen countries without further documentation other than his passport and his Greek residence permit.

1. By virtue of a decision of the General Secretariat of the Prefecture, a residence permit shall be issued for five years to third-country national who has obtained a special visa, when required, and has the full ownership, use and possession of immovable property in Greece. The above residence permit shall be renewed for the same duration, provided that the immovable property remains as above to the applicant’s ownership, use and possession …and that the other requirements of the law are being met. The minimum value of the immovable property is determined at €250,000.00. By virtue of a joint decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Minister of Finance the above value of the immovable property can be adjusted, and will be evident by the value of the property stated in the purchase contract.

2. The above third country national may be accompanied by his family members, under article 54 par.1 of Law 3386/2005, to whom an individual residence permit shall be issued, which shall expire together with the resident permit of the person supporting them.
