The Nordic Library at Athens 3.46

The Nordic Library is a joint venture by the four archaeological institutes of Sweden (working in Greece since 1948), Finland (1984), Norway (1989), and Denmark (1992).

The Library mainly caters towards Nordic scholars and students but also welcomes both Greek and foreign scholars and students who are interested in using its collections. It is open Monday-Friday 9:00-19:00.

The Library's collections include mainly material in the field of Greek and Mediterranean archaeology, ancient history, ancient philology, religion, philosophy, art and literature.
