The Technological Educational Institute of Central Greece is a Greek higher-educational institute founded in 2013.HistoryThe Technological Educational Institute of Chalkida was a Greek higher-educational institute, founded in 1983. From 1986 to 2013 it was located in Psachna, Euboea near to the city of Chalkida. It comprised two schools: the School of Technological Applications and the School of Management and Finance.Located in Lamia, the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia was founded in 1994 to provide higher technological education to the students of Greece.It was composed of the following five Faculties: Faculty of Applied TechnologyDepartment of Electronics EngineeringDepartment of Electrical EngineeringDepartment of Information Technology Faculty of Health and Welfare ServicesDepartment of NursingDepartment of Physiotherapy Faculty of Management and EconomyDepartment of Logistics and FinanceDepartment of Management, Economy and Communication of Cultural and Touristic UnitsDepartment of Systems Equipment Management Faculty of Agriculture Technology, Food Technology and NutritionDepartment of Forestry and Natural Environment Management The Technological Educational Institute of Lamia was separated from the Technological Educational Institute of Larisa in 1994. They were merged again in 2013 to form the Technological Educational Institute of Central Greece.
