About us:
Sofia Hatzopoulou opened Sunstone Jewelry in the year 2007 which was originally located in Kalamata, Greece after attending the Mokume School of Jewelry Art in Athens, Greece. This however was not the beginning of her experience as a jeweler having spent (years) apprenticing with her sister Ifigenia Hatzopoulou whom studied to be a jeweler in Stemnitsa, Greece and managed her own shop in Kardamyli, Greece from the year 1990.

In 2012 with the addition of a second child, Ifigenia Hatzopoulou closed her shop in Kardamyli to focus on her family, creating the opportunity for Sunstone Jewelry to move from Kalamata to the more scenic and peaceful Kardamyli in the spring of 2013.

Here at Sunstone Jewelry we offer over 53 years of combined metalworking experience and think the greatest way to challenge ourselves developing greater skill is not just in creating what we imagine but what you dream.

Our Jewelry:
Each piece of handmade jewelry is completely handmade and unique, not just assembled by hand or stamped / molded from a die with liquid metal, polished and a stone set.
