Pravlis Travel agency was initially founded as an emigration agency by Athanasios Pravlis in 1926, starting at the same time cooperation with one of the largest at the time travel agencies in Athens, named “The Lighthouse”. Nikolaos Pravlis, the founder’s son, took over and maintained the business from 1947 until the mid-1970s, when the number of Greek eminants started to decline. By that time, the agency had succeeded in helping a large percentage of our compatriots who sought a better life abroad. Subsequently, the emigration agency evolved into a travel agency, serving as a mediator in the issuing of tickets towards all international destinations and cooperating with the agency “The Lighthouse” for approximately 60 years.

Alexandros Pravlis has run the agency since 1986, completing a period of more than 90 years of operation.
