The POLYTROPON Art Gallery is operating since 2002 at the St.George Castle in Kefalonia.

The folksy art was born from the man's need to configure aesthetically items which uses every day in his life.
In Greece, a country with a big history and tradition, we have many samples that show the ability of the ancient greek spirit to impart beauty in the most simple objects.
The establishment of this area, Polytropon Art Gallery and this Website, expresses our love for art , tradition and the island of Kefalonia. Every year we produce and expose original artistic creations, handmade items,folklore items and items which are combined with the modern style and match with the color and style of the Mediterranean landscape.
Also every summer we organize excibitions of paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, books and lectures and presentations of books, which reflect trends and influences.
