Petalas Restaurant Kiotari 4.8

Petalas Beachfront Restaurant was built by a priest long time ago. At first it was a traditional “kafeneio” (café) for the local inhabitants and passing trade, run by our Grandfather. Petalas Restaurant was the only tavern in the area playing live music for evening entertainment.

Our father a local farmer, started working in the tavern when many of the locals started asking for food. He supplied the restaurant daily with fresh local home grown produce. Tomatoes and peppers, homemade herbs and fresh greens from his small garden. Oranges, lemons, olive oil and olives and fresh meat from a large herd of goats that he owned.

Today the son is the chef! He owns the restaurant and from a solid foundation is building his dream! Offering inspiring traditional Greek cuisine and the freshest fish, caught every morning in the nets of our very own small boat.
