In 1953 an earthquake in Kefalonia destroyed the island. Villagers came for the first time in Poros and they had to build everything again. This is how the first traditional restaurant in Poros was established and called "Hara" (joy). Later, it was renamed "Pantelis" due to the owners name. Today, the third generation keeps on offering the delicious, traditional Kefalonian recipes, with the same respect and quality to Pantelis friends. Here you can taste the traditional meat-pie, aliada with fish, pastitsada, bourgeto, stifado and walnut cake. Also you can taste the famous Kefalonian wine Robola.
