Makrochori is a village in the Kastoria regional unit in West Macedonia, Greece.The name of the village in Bulgarian and Macedonian is Кономлади, Konomladi. A village in Petrich Municipality, Blagoevgrad Province, Bulgaria, is named Novo Konomladi . This is because it was mostly populated by Bulgarian refugees from Makrochori who moved to Bulgaria after the Balkan Wars of 1912–1913.A notable native is the Internal Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Organization revolutionary Mitre the Vlach .
