Katelios Group Research Protection Marine and Terrestrial Life 2.76

At present the group focuses on the main project – Loggerheads turtles (Caretta caretta) Conservation Project.

The project is recognised and supported by the European Voluntary Service (EVS). EVS send volunteers (6 months) from all over the Europe throughout the year to help with the groups activities.
Apart from EVS volunteers the Katelios Group is always looking for enthusiastic, motivated volunteers to volunteer their services especially during the summer.
The Katelios Group is also involved in various other activities:
Environmental Education and Awareness
Promoting Sustainable Tourism
Promoting Sustainable Development
Organic agriculture

Participating volunteers have an opportunity to become an active part of all of the project activities.

The group relies on,
General Secretariat for Youth E.VS with European volunteers (European program funding),
Members of Katelios Group,
Donations from the supporters of the Katelios Group work,
Subscriptions to the project from the non EVS volunteers
The new edition of information materials and books of the Katelios Group Project Research and Protection of Marine Turtles in Kefalonia could provide also funding possibilities for the new year 2013.
