In recent years special emphasis has been placed on the extraversion of Greek products of high nutritional value and the emergence of Greek gastronomy, objectives which can be achieved through activities related to tourism in our country.

The reason for all this was the establishment of the Social Cooperative Enterprise of Kalymnos «Panagia Ipapandi» based in the packaging facility of the fish market of Kalymnos and consisting of the wives of the fishermen of Kalymnos.

For this reason there was special training from renowned Italian experts in the field of fish processing, so that today our company can produce up to 18 different products, while maintaining the safest standards of processing, packaging and storage required so that consumers can enjoy products of high added value, high quality and with nutritional value, with fish caught only from local fishermen thus maintaining the uniqueness of our products.

The purpose of all these efforts is the promotion and dissemination of fisheries in our country and the exploitation of fishery products and to highlight the characteristics of fishery production on the international food market and the international tourist market.
