Gennadi Sun Apartments are located right outside the centre of the traditional village Gennadi, only 200 m from the beach.
All the apartments are renovated in April 2016.The apartments are spacious and air-conditioned, they have a well-equipped kitchenette, a fridge, kettle, tost maker and a bathroom with a shower. All the appartments have their own balcony with sea view and they have access to a roof big terrace overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy your sunbathing or watching the sun go down in the evening. You can enjoy also free Wi-Fi and free parking. The bus station is a 3 min walk only from the appartments and there is a very good connection with the town of Rhodes, with Lindos, with Prassonissi and with the other sights of the island. In the beautiful, well organised, blue flagged beach of Gennadi there are sun beds to rent and water sport facilities. After swimming you can enjoy your meal or dinner in one of the restaurants at the beach, tastying traditional local food and fresh fish.
Gennadi Sun Apartments are located 15 km from Lindos, 20 km away from the famous beach for windsurfers Prassonisi and 45 km from the airport.
In the centre of the village, in 10 min walk, there are restaurants, cafes, super markets, an ATM, a post office, a pharmacy, a traditional bakery and a grocery store, where you can find fresh fruit and vegetables.
You can enjoy a walk in the narrow paved streets of the village, where you will see the typical traditional houses with their blossomed court yards, dating from the beginning of the 20th century. You can also visit the typical greek orthodox church of Saint John with the imposing bell tower at the entrance and its picturesque court yard decorated with a beautiful mosaic floor, made with small pebbles. Another opportunity to explore the beauties of the village is to follow the paved walkway through the gardens, full of citrus and pomegranate trees, taste the fresh water from a natural spring and finish your walking tour to the byzantine church of Saint Anastasia, located in the greek orthodox cemetery of the village, which is surrounded with huge cypress trees.
