Bridges Peloponnesian Corinthian International Film Festival

History: Commemorating the 150 years since the foundation of the modern town of Corinth, the Cultural Centre of Municipality presented in 2008 a brand new film festival to Greek cinephiles. The first edition of the Corinthian International Film Festival opened officially October 29 and runned for four days, presenting a competition section for films produced after 2005, and an interesting programme of parallel events.

Added to the many film festivals running throughout this year in Greece, the new institution aspires to become an annual event and attract professionals of the international independent film industry to southern Greece.

The festival’s competition section includes categories for feature and short films, animations, films for children, dance and music films.
