Amoudara Beach Apartment 2.16

The apartment is quiet and ideal for single visitors as well as families. The apartment is situated at the 3rd floor of a family block of flats and is comprised of a main space of 60m2 and a smaller room of 10m2 which is connected with an internal, wooden set of stairs. There is a 24000 BTU, new air-condition and 24Mbps WiFi covers all 140 square meters of the the floor. We offer a free welcome pack which includes: breakfast, sheets, towels, shampoo, shower gel. In addition, the apartment has a 70m2 porch. There is no elevator.

Guest access

You can freely access the whole apartment and the 70m2 porch. The whole floor is at your disposal and nobody else will access it.

Interaction with guests

Our aim is for you to have a pleasant stay and great memories from your holidays. We would like to welcome you, offer you a sip of the traditional drink raki, as well as some fruit. We will be at your disposal to answer all your questions and help you. In our city, hospitality is a serious case. However, we will be discrete, and will never violate your privacy.

The neighborhood

The apartment is located in Ammoudara, an area of tourism. Ammoudara is a place visited mostly by families and you will have the chance to meet people who enjoy quiet and relaxing holidays.

The beach is just 90 meters away from the apartment and there you will find two beach bars. The beach is organized and offers sunbeds as well as umbrellas, with a cost. However, if you are not willing to pay for those, there is also plenty of free space for you to relax and enjoy your swim. Both beach bars also have pools.

In the area near the beach you will find several taverns and restaurants, super markets, pharmacies and a health center. There is also a mall with a cinema, a theater and a concert hall, as well as stores and cafeterias.

Getting around

Concerning your way of transport, we suggest using the Heraclion city busses. Line “06” connects the airport with the city of Heraklion as well as with our area, Ammoudara. The duration of the trip from the airport of Heraklion to Ammoudara is approximately 35 minutes, while the ride from the airport to the city of Heraklion is approximately 15 minutes.

The cost of the ride is €1.70/person and busses leave every 20 to 30 minutes from and to Ammoudara. To reach the apartment you will have to get down at station “Andrea Papandreou 120” and walk for about 300 meters (approximately 4 minutes of walking).

If you wish to take a cab from the airport to our place or/and back, we can schedule a ride for you with a 20 euro cost per route. We inform you that there is no cost charged for helping you get a cab and you will have to pay the driver in cash.
