ΜΕΤΑδραση - METAdrasi 4.91

Η ΜΕΤΑδραση είναι μια Οργάνωση της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών η οποία ιδρύθηκε το 2010 με πρωταρχικό σκοπό να καλύψει μακροχρόνια κενά στην υποδοχή και ένταξη των προσφύγων και μεταναστών στην Ελλάδα. Εξειδικεύεται στον τομέα της διερμηνείας και διαπολιτισμικής μεσολάβησης καθώς και στην προάσπιση των δικαιωμάτων των ασυνόδευτων ανηλίκων και των ατόμων που χρήζουν διεθνούς προστασίας.

Είναι η μόνη οργάνωση στην Ελλάδα που σχεδίασε και εφαρμόζει ένα οργανωμένο σύστημα εκπαίδευσης, πιστοποίησης και συντονισμού στο πεδίο για την παροχή διερμηνείας, είτε μέσω φυσικής παρουσίας, είτε μέσω τηλεδιάσκεψης, σε 33 γλώσσες και διαλέκτους.

Η ΜΕΤΑδραση έχει επίσης αναπτύξει ένα πρότυπο δίκτυο προστασίας ασυνόδευτων ανηλίκων, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει ένα καινοτόμο σύνολο δράσεων: Συνοδεία ασυνόδευτων ανηλίκων από κέντρα κράτησης προς κατάλληλες δομές φιλοξενίας σε όλη την Ελλάδα, Δίκτυο Επιτροπείας, φιλοξενία παιδιών σε οικογένειες και Μεταβατικές Δομές Φιλοξενίας στη Λέσβο, στη Σάμο, στη Χίο, στην Αθήνα και στη Θεσσαλονίκη.

Παράλληλα, η ΜΕΤΑδραση προσφέρει Νομική στήριξη σε δικαιούχους διεθνούς προστασίας, μέσω τοπικά εγκατεστημένων δικηγόρων στη Λέσβο, τη Σάμο, τη Χίο, τη Λέρο και την Κω, καθώς και μαθήματα ελληνικής γλώσσας, ειδικά σχεδιασμένα για τις ανάγκες των επωφελούμενων.

METAdrasi is an organization of Civil Society founded in 2010 with the primary aim to cover long-standing gaps in the reception and integration of refugees and migrants in Greece. METAdrasi specializes in the sector of interpretation services and intercultural mediation as well as the protection of the rights of unaccompanied minors and persons entitled to international protection.

METAdrasi is the only organization in Greece that has developed and implemented a curriculum for the training, certification and coordination of interpreters. Interpretation is provided both in the field and via a teleconference system, in 33 languages and dialects.

METAdrasi has also developed key innovative initiatives that make up a safety network for unaccompanied children in Greece: Escorting missions from detention centers to suitable accommodation facilities throughout Greece, Guardianship, Foster Care and Transit Accommodation Facilities in Lesvos, Samos, Chios, Athens and Thessaloniki.

In the same time, METAdrasi offers legal aid to persons entitled to international protection, through locally established lawyers in the islands of Lesvos, Samos, Chios, Leros and Kos as well as greek language courses, specifically designed for the needs of the target group.
