MeloMelissa is the Greek name for the specialized-honey bee who is exclusively responsible for nectar collection. After the nectar collection MeloMelissa (Honey Bee) transfers it into the hive in order to mature and to transform to pure honey.

Our aim is to highlight and deliver two qualities of greek-honey, the thyme-honey from the sunbathed islands of the Cyclades and the flower-honey. Our product is characterized by high quality as reflected in the significant percentages of pollen found in our honey.

Our secret lies in our hive locations. Our hives are located in the mythical mount of Parnitha, a national park with a significant biodiversity including rare flower species indigenous only to Greece, as well as in the island of Paros.
