Μουσείο Τυπογραφίας / Museum of Typography 4.25

Το μοναδικό στην Ελλάδα Μουσείο Τυπογραφίας βρίσκεται στα Χανιά, λίγο έξω από την πόλη, στο Βιοτεχνικό Πάρκο Σούδας.

Το χειμώνα λειτουργεί κάθε Τρίτη – Τετάρτη και Παρασκευή 12:30 – 15:00 και την πρώτη Κυριακή κάθε μήνα 10:00 – 15:00.
Ομαδικές και σχολικές επισκέψεις πραγματοποιούνται καθημερινά με ραντεβού στα 2821080090, 6974020861 και info@typography-museum.gr.
Το Καλοκαίρι λειτουργεί κάθε Τρίτη, Τετάρτη, Πέμπτη και Κυριακή: 10:00 – 16:00. Επίσης κάθε Παρασκευή: 12:00 – 19:00.

Η συλλογή του περιλαμβάνει περίτεχνα τυπογραφικά πιεστήρια και άλλα μηχανήματα καθώς και εργαλεία και αντικείμενα που παρουσιάζουν την εξέλιξη της τυπογραφίας από τη γέννηση της την εποχή του Γουτεμβέργιου μέχρι τις μέρες μας. Σπάνια βιβλία, εφημερίδες καθώς και πολύτιμες λιθογραφίες ταξιδεύουν τον επισκέπτη στην τέχνη της Τυπογραφίας.
Κατά τη διάρκεια των επισκέψεων μικροί και μεγάλοι έχουν την ευκαιρία να τυπώσουν στα παλιά τυπογραφικά πιεστήρια.
Tο μουσείο είναι μέλος του Ευρωπαϊκού Συνδέσμου Μουσείων Τυπογραφίας (AEPM).

Unique in Greece, the Museum of Typography is found in Chania, not far from the city, in the Park of Local Industries in Souda.
During the winter, the museum is open Tuesday – Wednesday and Friday 12:30 – 15:00 and the first Sunday of each month 10:00 – 15:00.

During the Summer the museum is open every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00. Friday: 12:00 – 19:00. Monday and Saturday: Closed
The museum collection includes hard to find, cast iron printing presses and other machines, as well as tools and objects that present the development of typography from birth, in the days of Gutenberg, up to our days. Rare books and newspapers, as well as our precious lithographies, travel the visitor in the art of Typography.
During guided tours children and adults have the opportunity to print on the old printing presses.
The museum is a member of the Association of European Printing Museums (AEPM).
