This is a large, spacious, detached french home which sleeps 9 with a beautiful private garden and 7m x 3m private swimming pool. Summer kitchen and barbecue. Private parking.

Set in Portiragnes, this beautiful Villa is the perfect getaway for small to large families wanting to experience the South of France. The village is located 5km away from Béziers and offers a traditional, laidback french lifestyle that all members of the family would enjoy. Almost everyday is a sunny one with the relaxing way of life that most people can only dream of.

Location wise, the village is surrounded by an excellent selection of vineyards that makes France the leader in wine. If the wine isn't your thing then culture, scenery and general relaxation is in abundance.

Ground Floor

The ground floor level of the house comprises of two bedrooms. The main double bedroom has decor inspired by Orla Kiely, a comfortable double bed, ceiling fan and large built in wardrobe space and USB charging points. This bedroom has double opening doors to the garden and terrace.

The other ground level bedroom has a ceiling fan, USB charging points and three single beds - one of which is a cabin bed (mid-sleeper NOT high-sleeper which is not ideal for children under age of 6). This second room also has double doors which open onto a separate, private terrace area and main garden and a beautiful view of the private swimming pool.

The kitchen houses all mod cons including a dishwasher. It opens onto a summer kitchen with dining area and barbecue, also a utility room with ironing facilities and washing machine.

Family bathroom, also on the ground level comprises of his and her sinks, bath and a toilet. There is also a separate toilet and separate shower room.

Living room area, ground floor has a log burner, flat screen TV, DVD Player, with basic English channels and French TV. Two large sofas comfortably seating 9 people.
First Floor

The 1st floor of the house comprises a mezzanine style large room which includes a good quality spring action double sofa bed, work desk and large well stocked book, games and dvd library.
Second Floor

Then the 2nd floor of the house has the final bedroom which consists of built in wardrobe space, double bed and ceiling fan with USB charging points.

Located 5km from Béziers it is an ideal location for the perfect holiday. Authentic and very beautiful: almost everyday a sunny one, drink wine from the largest and most varied vineyards of France, soak up all that ancient culture, walking long, white beaches and sitting by the beautiful blue Mediterranean sea. The infamous Canal du Midi that is still one of its kind; the ancient Greek town of Agde and last but not least, Béziers's sparky cathar past to present bullfights & wine country. There are so many choices of activities in the Hérault region. Poised perfectly between the easterly Camargue marshes and the westerly Cathar country, the Hérault is the hidden part of southern of the expansive Languedoc Cevennes, Caroux and Black Mountain ranges, hugging the Mediterranean with 100 km of triumphant coastal southern sand.

The Portiragnes area

Portiragnes village is located 2km inland from the beach and is a typically French village with great boulangeries (bakers) for fresh baguettes. The village has a 12th century church, post office, medical centre, a few shops, a local market, restaurants and several local wine producers. . A fantastic restaurant to visit is 'Mon Reve d'Enfant'. Also the wine co-operative (La Campestre) is where you can try the fine local wine the Sauvignon and Vigneron are especially good. The infamous Canal du Midi that is still one of its kind, it is possible to hire bikes locally to enjoy the Canal du Midi at its very best. It is also possible to cycle to the beach from Portiragnes village along the canal.
