We are situated just inside the Gers on the main D634 road between L'isle Jourdain and Samatan. We're roughly 35 minutes from Blagnac and 25 minutes from Auch. If you're travelling from the Gers to Blagnac airport you're likely to directly pass the kennels.
The kennels are incorporated within our modern property so they are light, fully insulated and double glazed, making them warm in the winter and cool in the height of the summer. For extra warmth in the winter each dog has a heat lamp over their bed.
Unlike many traditional kennel layouts our kennels face each other, so while your pet is staying, he'll always be able to see what his holiday companions are up to, and although safe and secure he won't feel isolated. Caring for the dogs takes the majority of the day when we're busy so there's always plenty to keep your pet occupied.
The kennels are situated within our house so the dogs have 24 hour supervision. If anyone is upset we hear and can quickly go to investigate the problem. For added security we also have a camera that can be set up to allow us to constantly monitor a resident from the house.
All the dogs are taken for a minimum of 3 proper walks a day and in the height of the summer when the days are at their longest they'll be taken out 4 times. Dogs are usually taken individually but if you'd prefer your pet to go out with a friend please let us know.
The first walk in the morning takes place at 7am in the summer and as soon as there's enough light in the winter.
We find that the dogs visiting really enjoy their stay and are scratching at the door enthusiastically to be allowed in on their second visit!
I have for most of my life been a vegetarian and am now a vegan. I am also an active anti corrida (bullfighting) campaigner and regularly protest at corrida's held in the region.
