The Old Notaire’s House is situated in the middle of the small village of St Géry, on the North bank of the River Lot, deep in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy. The house sleeps up to 8 people and has a large garden & pool.

Cahors is the main town of the Lot département. It has a fascinating medieval history with many still existing landmarks, including Valentré bridge and the Cathedrale St Etienne both dating from the 14th century. It also has a huge selection of famous local red wines and delicious food, and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to cater for every taste.

To the east of Cahors the road follows the Lot river towards St Géry and further on to St Cirq Lapopie, a medieval village built into the side of the cliffs with spectacular views. St Cirq Lapopie is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the Lot Valley.
