Since the beginning of his career as composer, Nicolas Dubut has composed music for a number of films whose styles are very varied from each other. Although authentic, the unifying voice of Nicolas' work is a subtle rhythmic melody whose themes embody the excitement, adventure and drama of his films.

Born in Saint Germain en Laye, Yvelines, Nicolas initially planned to become a guitarist of Rock. After spending a few years at the Conservatory of Chatou for a classical training, he is struck by the melodies and arrangements of film music. At 28 years old and armed with his determination, he found himself composing the music of the film "Anrtefacts" by Patrick O'blin in 2010, a decisive encounter in his career.

In 2015 he composed the music of the advertising campaign "SeptemberIsComing" for the brand "Clairefontaine" realized by Damien D. Richard graduate of the school Luc Besson, it is during the same year that Nicolas makes another crucial meeting with the director Rémi Hoffmann, whose 2016 film "Les Seigneurs d'Outre Monde", selected in the semi-final of the Los Angeles CineFest in 2017, was the first feature film for the composer (alongside Guy-Roger Duvert) and the director, who became the basis of a collaboration between the filmmaker and the composer, which continues today. Their collaborations have led them through numerous advertising projects "Geek's Live", festivales "Geekopolis", TV shows "Roleplay", borrowing several different styles passing through symphonic, electro and Rock.

Another very important meeting for Nicolas, the one with the director and choreographer Benoît Lelièvre which led him to sign in 2017, the music of his first documentary film directed by Lina Murad, "Chez Moi sans Toit". A moving film about a very delicate subject, since it talks about the daily lives of Syrian children living in the Zaatari camp in Jordan. The film was selected at the Maghreb Film Festival in Geneva. Then, he signed the music of the art-film of the Chinese artist Ya Ping Fan "From the Time of the Dolls..." directed by Benoît Lelièvre. Film shown during numerous exhibitions of the artist's works throughout the world. He signed in September 2017 the music of his first cartoon "Lillandril" directed by Margaux Tamic, project of the prestigious school "Pole 3D".
Currently, he works alongside Sophie Attelann on the advice of Benoît Lelièvre for the film "Hikikomori" planned for 2018. A new collaboration very promising ...
