Miel du gabaye is a family run business specialising in authentic french honey.With forty years experience our traditional methods create fine quality honey at a reasonable price.
Our hives are manufactured with care and attention at the owners residence in addition to new bee colonies being raised within the gardens. These are then placed within the local forest where they rest difinitively ensuring enduring respect for the bees.
We produce high quality honey including acacia, chestnut, blackberry,linden ,spring flowers and forest flowers.This is achieved because the hives of ¨ Miel du gabaye¨are permanenly in place within the local forest (¨En foret du Santonge¨)and are harvested regularly throughout the seasons.
Our natural honey is never blended or mixed and therefore is a fantastic addition to any kitchen. It will add new intense flavours to traditional recipes aswell as eaten on buttered toast or simply added to hot drinks or porridge.
